In the Yr 8 art class with Ms. Shaw, we are doing the “big hair project” to learn different techniques, and to have somnme fun. The way we do this, is:
- We take a photo of ourselves, (the sillier the better)
- We cut out the sihlouette of us, (you can either keep your og hair or make yourself bald)
- We glue the sihlouette onto a long rectangle peice of paper,
- We trace a massive whatever on top of your head foor your hair,
- We color in the massive shape, adding in patterns and designs along the way,
- And then you can choose to color in the background, or you can leave it blank.
The hardest part for me was probably finding the inspiration for the designs /patterns, and the choosing of the colors Overall this was a really fun experience, and I can’t wait to finish it.
